South Lanarkshire's Care Day Conference
COVEY recently joined some truly inspirational care-experienced young people at South Lanarkshire’s Care Day Conference. Alongside other corporate parents, we took to the stage to talk about our ASK group, which stands for Additional Skills and Knowledge.
This group, which is funded by the CORRA Foundation, seeks to empower care-experienced young people, giving them opportunities to make their voices heard.
With COVEY’s support, our young leaders design their own programme and activities around their needs and interests to help them gain skills and work to share their vision.
We really enjoyed setting up our stall and getting to know lots of care-experienced young people, answering their questions and sharing this valuable opportunity.
